Rector of Bocconi University and Full Professor of Accounting. President of the executive committee of the Italian Accounting Organization (OIC), Provasoli is a member of the Italian National Academy of Business Administration. From 1975 to 2003 he was the editor of the Rivista Italiana dei Dottori Commercialisti.
Provasoli is the author of numerous publications on issues regarding accounting, economic-financial information of companies and economic value determinations of companies. He is co-president of the steering committee of “The Economy and the Open Society”.
