In the 1990’s he founded Istituto Clinico Humanitas, of which he is president. He is vice president of Confindustria for education. He also sits on the board of RCS Quotidiani, Buzzi Unicem, Allianz SpA and Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT).
Rocca is a member of the Trilateral Commission of the European Advisory Board at Harvard Business School, the Executive Committee of the Aspen Institute and the Advisory Board of the Allianz Group.
