President of Microsoft Italia and President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy
After years working at Hewlett Packard and the General Automation of Anaheim, in 1985 Paolucci founded the Italian branch of Microsoft.
He is the president of Microsoft Italia, was the vice-president of the Microsoft Corporation in 1998 and in 2003 he was senior chairman of Microsoft Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He received an honorary degree from the University of Bologna in Statistics and Corporate Information Technology.
Appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro by Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, Paolucci was appointed Honorary Doctor of the Collegio della Biblioteca Ambrosiana by the Archbishop of Milan, Cardinal Dionigi Tettamanzi.
Since 2006 he has been president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.
