Full Professor of International Relations at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Parsi also teaches at the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Lugano. He coordinates the Master in markets and institutions of the global system, which is organized by the Alta Scuola di Economia e Relazioni Internazionali and by the USI.
Bocconi’s publishing house published his popular book, The Inevitable Alliance. Europe and the United States Beyond Iraq, which is now in its second edition. In this book he maintains that “if we are concerned about not having just any world order but having the right one, the multilateralism between Europe and the United States is the only possible kind, founded on those principles of freedom which cannot be subject to negotiations” .
