Member of the scientific committee of IRER – the Lombard Regional Research Institute, since 1995 Andreta has been the president of a variety of European committees in the sectors of energy, coal and steel, sustainable development and, more recently, nanotechnologies.
Since 1999 he has taken on the responsibility of Head of the EU delegation regarding the agreement of scientific and technological cooperation in the field of materials and nanotechnologies with the NSF (USA) and the multilateral agreement, “Intelligent Manufacturing System” (IMS).
He has been a contract professor for a number of Italian and foreign universities.
