Full Professor of Economics at Bocconi, Masciandaro holds the Chair in Economics of Financial Regulation.
His research areas include financial regulation, monetary economics and economics of illegal financial markets. Director of Bocconi University’s “Paolo Baffi” Center, he is a member of the antiracket committee of the Italian Economics Ministry and has been an advisor and researcher for the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.
